UNC Patriots Get Their Party: Flagstock 2024 Is A Go
"Everyone in America wanted to thank these fine young patriots. On Labor Day, we will get to do just that."
What can $500,000 get some college kids who want to have a great party? We’re going to find out this Labor Day.
On September 2nd, the patriots at the University of North Carolina are getting the party they deserve, thanks to an outpouring of generosity from their fellow Americans. We all recall the “triumphant brohemians” who rescued the American flag from anti-American freakshows earlier this year–and the GoFundMe that raised them over half a million bucks.

Many have wondered what the plan for such a stratospheric amount of money is. Well, here it is. Today, their allies announced Flagstock 2024, the party to end all parties, that will throw these chads “the epic rager they earned,” per the party’s press release. The invite-only party is free of charge, and will feature none other than John Rich of the multi-platinum band Big & Rich, who offered to perform for free right off the bat.
In order to ensure seamless planning, an organization entitled Pints for Patriots is being set up to “plan and execute the event, liaise with UNC Chapel Hill officials, handle security, and handle logistics.”
John Noonan, the patriot who started the GoFundMe, wrote in a press release that “these great young guys defended our flag and created a unifying national cultural moment. Everyone in America wanted to thank these fine young patriots. On Labor Day, we will get to do just that.”
For those UNC kids under 21 who are “dying to see” John Rich perform, I suggest giving this banger of his a listen.
