Gronk Intrigued by Potential Primary to Anti-Israel Democrat
I touched base with the all-world tight end amidst rumors that Robert Kraft's son wants to run for Congress
Rob Gronkowski is very intrigued by a potential primary challenger to an anti-Israel member of the Squad.
Amidst rumors that one of Robert Kraft’s kids, Josh Kraft, could primary Ayanna Pressley, I spoke with the greatest tight end of all time. Gronk already teased a potential run for office of his own to me, and I asked him if he had heard that Josh may be running for Congress.
“I didn’t see that,” Gronk told me. When I asked him if he’d want to come to DC with one of the younger Krafts, Gronk certainly seemed interested. “I would 100% come here with him,” he said.
Kraft, who recently bought a home in Boston, runs much of the New England Patriots’ philanthropic efforts–and his potential run against Pressley has been teased by local outlets. It’s also possible that that the local legend would try and oust Boston’s mayor, Michelle Wu.
Kraft’s philanthropic resume is no joke. In addition to running the New England Patriots Foundation, he is also “responsible for the Kraft family’s many philanthropic initiatives, including the Patriots Foundation, the Revolution Charitable Foundation, the Kraft Center for Community Health, and the family’s participation in the REFORM Alliance.”
A Kraft bid would set up an intriguing matchup with Pressley, especially given that his father, Robert Kraft, is donating immense amounts to combat the exact sort of Jew-hatred that Pressley votes in lockstep with.
Pressley is a deranged anti-Israel activist, who recently culturally appropriated MLK Day to bizarrely demand that Israel cave to the demands of Palestinian terrorists. While this potentially makes her invincible in a Democratic primary, if the Patriots want to see one of their own in Congress, Josh Kraft may be their best bet.
Given the lack of success the Patriots have had on the field since Tom Brady, the greatest athlete in human history, left for warmer weather in Tampa Bay, maybe they can turn their eyes to politics–either in the nation’s capital or that of Massachusetts.
